RED ROCK CHAPTER MEETING MINUTES

Meeting was called to order at 7:10pm

Vice President: No report

Treasurer: Beginning balance: $2253.41. Ending balance: $4989.33. 50/50: $524.00.

Habitat: Bill Williams and Vince Hudock will have Cider Run and Sugar Run limed in preparation for our June 14-15 planting project. The plans are for Cider Run to be completed June 14, and Newell Road on June 15. Meeting time will be 8am at the Sorber Mountain Road bridge. The funding for this joint project is from the Muncy Creek Chapter. Vince Hudock will look into a winter project for our chapter, likely a timbering project. The road cleanup went well on April 27.

JAKES: Chastity will send in the reporting form for our event. The last of the JAKES T-Shirts have been obtained and will be distributed or sent out. Dale wrote a letter of appreciation to Moon Lake Park for the JAKES event, which also included suggestions for changes to improve next year’s event.

President: Dale received the banquet rebate check, as well as the scholarship checks for this year and last year. Tony obtained daily number raffle tickets to raise funds for our chapter. The next drawing will be July 19, with the evening Pennsylvania Daily Number drawing determining the winning ticket. This year will be election year for our offices, and Dale encouraged members to consider nominations. We will need a banquet chairperson named at the July meeting and a JAKES chairperson named at the August meeting. Dale suggested having a JAKES Committee meeting in August. As per Tony Landi, the contract for Genetti’s for the banquet next year is signed.
